Layout, font, number style

You wouldn't believe how many finished pieces of writing contain different fonts, styles and layouts. Your work should look as visually uniform as possible, so as not to confuse your readers and it's very easy to end up with inconsistencies when work has been completed over a long period of time or copied and pasted from different documents. They can create a very poor impression, though.
