Frequently Asked Questions
What are your turnaround times?
We usually advise allowing one day per 5,000 words that you would like to have proofread and one day per 4,000 words that you would like to have stylistically edited. However, you can secure an editor with us in advance, then send through the document once it's ready to be proofread, saving you time and hassle.
Does the word count include references and bibliography?
Yes, we calculate the word count based on the whole document you send us. Many of our clients prefer to have the whole document proofread or edited as this ensures continuity throughout. If you do not want the references/bibliography to be reviewed, simply remove them from the document before sending it to us, or let us know that the editor doesn't need to proofread these sections.
What if I'd like to make revisions to the work provided?
Every order comes with a free 10-day alteration period. If you are not happy with your proofread document, please get in touch and your dedicated Academic Consultant can advise you on how to place an alteration request.
Will my work and my details remain confidential?
Yes, this is one of our guarantees. As a registered business with an office in central London, we are bound by the Data Protection Act and the recent GDPR guidelines. If you would like to go one step further, please provide us with an NDA and our Director will sign this for you.
